Sebago Technics is pleased to announce that three students at the University of Maine have been awarded scholarships from the Sebago Technics Scholarship Fund for the 2017-18 academic year. All three are pursuing engineering degrees and are the children of current employees:
Mitchell Giles, a Senior from Gray, Maine, majoring in Mechanical Engineering;
Marie-Louise Doe, a Senior from Kennebunkport, Maine, majoring in Bioengineering;
Stewart Doe, a Junior also from Kennebunkport, dual majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
The Sebago Technics Scholarship Fund, begun by Walt Stinson, was established in 1996 at the University of Maine Foundation. The fund assists students attending the University of Maine with a preference for engineering. The scholarship is administered by the University of Maine Foundation and the UMaine – Office of Student Financial Aid.
Sebago Technics offers its congratulations to this year’s recipients and wish them well in their academic pursuits.
