Sebago Technics, a Maine-based, engineering consulting firm, announced two recent promotions within its Survey/GIS discipline.
Matthew W. Ek, PLS was promoted to the position of Director of Survey/GIS Advancement. Matt has 27+ years of survey experience and has been with Sebago Technics since 1994. As Director of Survey/GIS Advancement, Matt will be responsible for growing Sebago’s Survey and GIS business by identifying opportunities for new markets, clients and services. Matt will serve as a representative to various organizations and associations targeting survey and construction and attend trade shows and other marketing events. Matt will also be responsible for long term workload inventory and monitoring overall client satisfaction.
Charles D. Marchese, PLS was promoted to the position of Director of Survey Operations. Mr. Marchese has over 37 years of experience in the land surveying field with an emphasis on boundary and engineering related projects. He joined Sebago Technics in 2009. As Director of Survey Operations, Charlie will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the survey group including scheduling and staff assignments. Charlie will coordinate and communicate with client and project managers on project needs and schedules. He will also be responsible for estimates, reviewing proposals and plan quality review.
Working with Sebago’s professional survey and GIS staff, these positions will expand upon Sebago Technics’ reputation as Maine’s leading survey/GIS services organization.
