Sebago Technics provides a broad range of highway design services to support clients at the state, municipal, and private levels. We analyze wide ranges of alternatives to create a more efficient and comprehensive roadway network, considering users of all modes of transportation including vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists as well as providing accessible facilities meeting ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.
Utilizing 3-dimensional design and modeling capabilities, our highway engineers are able to create designs that meet the needs of our clients as well as support contractors that utilize 3-dimension design with new modern construction technologies to ensure a superior product.
Our highway design services not only incorporate roadway components but also incorporate drainage aspects utilizing Habitat Connectivity Design at in-stream culvert crossings to ensure not only a safe crossing for vehicles but also to ensure aquatic passage in order to improve wildlife.
Construction Inspection Services
Sebago Technics offers construction inspection and administrative services for the highway and traffic engineering work we provide in order to see projects from start to finish and ensure our clients get the highest quality product. We oversee all aspects of transportation infrastructure projects including inspecting the physical work, reviewing materials submittals, reviewing pay requisitions, and ensuring the construction process continues smoothly with the highest quality, on-time, and on-budget. We also have NETTCP HMA Certified Paving Inspectors to oversee all pavement placement for projects both large and small.
Municipality Local Administered Projects Services
Sebago Technics LPA (Local Project Administration) certified staff to support local municipalities throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Locally administered projects must follow a specific process in order to secure state funding. Our engineers work collaboratively with the municipality to not only design the project but ensure that this process is followed and the correct documentation is provided. We assist in permitting, utility coordination, the right-of-way process, etc. to assure a successful and seamless project from kick-off meeting to final project certification.
