Partnering with the MaineDOT, Sebago Technics worked with Concord Coach Lines to provide intercity bus service to Portland and Boston.
The location selected for this service hub was the existing park-and-ride lot at Exit 75 on the Maine Turnpike in Auburn. Sebago Technics was retained by Concord Coach Lines to perform a feasibility study of this location.
Sebago Technics was contracted for surveying and engineering services for the new facility and parking lot. As part of this process, we were responsible for mapping wetlands, streams and vernal pools. The investigation revealed a wetland and a stream on one side of the project area. We located these features utilizing ground survey methods while the topographic survey was being completed. MaineDOT constructed the 1,300 sf terminal with 90 parking spaces which opened in 2017.
