We are pleased to announce that Brian Cook has recently joined our team of talented Surveyors! Mr. Cook recently graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Surveying Engineering Technology. He was the recipient of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors scholarship in 2021. Before attending UMaine, Brian attended New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) in the Civil Engineering Technology program. Please join us in welcoming Brian to the Sebago team!
Where did you grow up and what other places have you lived in throughout your life?
I grew up in Litchfield, New Hampshire. I have lived in New Hampshire and Maine throughout my life.
What three traits define you?
Hardworking, Reliable, Easygoing.
What is your favorite part of the type of work that you do?
I enjoy the problem-solving aspects of surveying, and being able to work outdoors in a variety of different locations.
What are your hobbies outside the office?
I like skiing, weightlifting, and basketball, among other things.
What inspired you to work for Sebago Technics?
The type of work is diverse, which I figured would be good experience. I also liked the fact that it is an employee-owned company.
Favorite thing to do in Maine?
Skiing. Sunday River is a fun place to go.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a dog because they have fun and live in the moment.
Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?
Probably on a ski trip to Switzerland.
When you think about working at Sebago Technics, what makes you proudest or most excited?
I am excited that I will be part of an employee-owned company. Hard work will benefit myself as well as all the employee-owners.
